First, I must confess I didn't think this workout would be that hard for me. After all, i have completed Insanity, P90X, Les Mills Combat and other really intense workouts that involve a lot of cardio, jumping, and practically no breaks. Let me also say i have not done very much yoga or pilates in the past, because i have always liked high impact cardio. I also love playing sports and running, so i'm always working out in some way or another. However after having a baby and wanting to keep my body healthy and flexible, i decided to give this program a try and see what kind of results i could gain from it.
PIYO totally threw all my preconceived notions out the window. Some of the workouts are only 20 minutes, but they were rough. I was gaining strength and definition, and my core was getting really strong. My arms were really defined, and my abs were really starting to come in, after all these years of wanting a 6 pack. As a side note, i did not do any other workouts while doing this program, so i gained my results from simply doing PIYO 6 days a week, with workouts ranging each day from 20-48 minutes. That's it! Of course, i was also eating healthy and drinking Shakeology which also makes a huge difference in your results.
I know you are ready to see the pictures! I can't say enough good things about this program. It has totally changed my body, my confidence, and I love how strong i feel. This is such a great program for anyone at any fitness level at any age, because you can modify every move to what works best for you. Out of all the beachbody programs that i have done, this is my favorite and i will do it again and again.
